About me
I'm a Nutritional Therapist with over 15 years’ experience having graduated from the College of Naturopathic Medicine (CNM) in 2007. I'm a member of the British Association of Nutritional Therapy (BANT), the Association of Naturopathic Practitioners' (ANP) and the Complimentary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC). I've coached and supported hundreds of women back to optimal health through my passion and deep understanding of nutrition by helping my clients apply simple and practical changes into their everyday lives to support their overall physical and mental wellbeing.
As well as running a private practice working on a 1:1 basis with clients, I'm also a very experienced Trainer/Educator in the nutrition field having worked with a number of companies as a nutritionist (see below). I have trained a wide variety of health professionals, lectured aspiring nutritionists, ran public nutrition courses, well-being workshops in corporate organisations, worked as a Leading Spa Nutritionist and also written for both the trade and consumer press.
Yoga...
I am a qualified Yoga Teacher having completed my 200hr qualification with a Yoga Alliance Certification and also qualified as a MenoYoga Teacher to deliver tailored classes and support to women going through the perimenopause and menopause stage of life. I'm hugely passionate about Yoga having practised for over 20 years. I have found it so supportive during my own corporate career to manage stress, during my pregnancy and throughout my own menopause and believe it to be a game changer. I love passing the gift of yoga onto other women in mid life as a tool to support them and bring tranquillity and calm into their busy lives.
COMPANIES I'VE WORKED WITH

I am a Mycotherapy Consultant and a Trainer and Educator for other health professionals on the benefits of Medicinal Mushrooms for the body. Medicinal Mushrooms can be used to support the immune system, the gut, hormones, cognitive function, stress, digestion and more. I also work with Hifas da Terra, specialists in Medicinal Mushrooms in the UK Training and Education department.
My Story
I have a thorough understanding of Nutrition due to my experience on a professional but also personal level. I came to understand the affect that nutrition and diet has on the body from an early age when I was diagnosed via a private test with a dairy intolerance due to chronic eczema at age 10. I had been on steroid cream after steroid cream from the doctors and my parents knew that my diet must have had something to do with it.
Alternative ‘dairy free’ products were not as readily available in the 80’s as they are now and I had to learn how to adapt and change my diet, which during boarding school years was very challenging!
However it did the trick and only flared up again during my corporate career in my twenties and thirties, due to stress and sometimes neglect. In 2005, I decided to follow my passion for nutrition as I found out firsthand how it can heal the body. So I left my corporate career and changed my life to retrain as a Nutritional Therapist.
Having also suffered with an early menopause soon after having my daughter at a time when peers were still having children , I know on a personal level all about the challenges that can face us at this transitional time of life on both our physical and mental health.
Having been through a ‘roller coaster’ of symptoms myself without HRT, I really do understand how it feels , even though I'm now out the other side! I have a real passion for working with and supporting women (whether they have chosen to take HRT or not ) who are going through perimenopause, menopause and beyond on how to work towards feeling the best version of themselves via nutritional and lifestyle medicine.
